Please read these terms carefully before purchasing a registration from us.
1. About Us
Northern Registrations is a private number plate dealer based at Office 118, 3 Lawnakilla Way, Carran Business, Enniskillen, BT74 4RZ. We act as a dealer in DVLA-retained registrations and assist buyers with the assignment process.
2. Purchases
All sales are subject to availability and confirmation by us. A contract is formed only when we have confirmed the sale in writing and payment has been received in full. Prices are as listed and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Physical number plates are not included in the purchase price.
3. Assignment Service
The purchase price includes our service in handling the DVLA assignment paperwork on your behalf. It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle you wish to assign the registration to is eligible — for example, Q-registered vehicles cannot be assigned a private number. We will confirm eligibility before proceeding.
4. DVLA Fees
Assigning a registration from a valid V778 or V750 retention certificate to a vehicle is currently free. The DVLA charges £80 to place a registration onto a retention certificate from a vehicle. As our registrations are already held on retention, this fee does not apply to purchases from us. DVLA fees are subject to change and are outside our control.
5. Cancellations & Returns
Once a registration has been assigned to a vehicle or transferred into your name, the sale cannot be reversed. Please ensure you are satisfied with your purchase before proceeding. If you have any concerns, contact us before completing the transfer.
6. Liability
We take care to ensure all information on this website is accurate, but we cannot guarantee it is complete or up to date at all times. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on this site. DVLA rules and fees are subject to change.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
